10 USD / Out of stock.
Expecting to restock autumn 2018! Stay tuned!

Gynandromorphs are organisms with both male and female characteristics. They occur rarely in nature and can be unusual but stunning creatures, such as this butterfly that is male on the left and female on the right! Their unique appearance is beautiful and adds diversity to the amazing spectrum of life in our world. Take this special butterfly as a symbol and embrace the beautiful, different, and unique in yourself! Whatever you look like, whoever you love, however you express your individuality: be as you are!

This pin features a Tiger Swallowtail butterfly, Papilio glaucus, native to east North America. They are fairly common in a variety of habitats and can often be seen at butterfly bushes in the summer.

During its charity period, this pin raised over $500 for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), an organization that defends individual rights and liberties in the United States. Thank you for helping with me!

Hard enamel pin with gold plating and rubber clutch. Approximately 25 mm.

(I am not in any way affiliated with the ACLU or any other charities I choose to donate to with my products. I'm just trying to help with art.)
